THE BOOK PITCH COMPETITION

The Book Pitch competition is organized by Book House Nigeria. Competitors would have the chance to present their novel idea to the judges for the chance to win a publishing contract and gift prizes.

Eligibility: African Writers from the age of 14-30 who have registered for BOOKICON. (Click here to register for BOOKICON)

How to Enter: Send a brief synopsis of your book, a brief bio of yourself, your phone number and your BOOKICON registration number to [email protected]. 10 finalists will be selected to present their pitch to the judges at the BOOKICON event (Click on Image to register for BOOKICON). If you make the final list to present at BOOKICON you are required to prepare a Power Point slide of your pitch as follows;

Slide 1 – Title, name of author and genre or book

Slide 2 – Brief synopsis of the story containing main conflict, protagonist, antagonist and setting.

Slide 3 – detailed description of the top three characters.

Slide 4 – conclusion.

Three finalists will win Book contracts and gifts while the rest will go home with gift prizes.
