Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Godwin grew up to find himself naturally drawn towards art. He decided to pursue a career in art. After his secondary school, he did a two year course in fine and applied art and thereafter, joined the industry working as a storyboard artist for various productions, illustrating and coloring comic books, as well as doing concept art and matte painting for various productions.
